Nursing Student Admissions Database Project
Nursing Student Admissions Database Project

The Nursing Student Admissions Database (NSAD) has received funding for two years of data collection, 2008-2010. The goal of NSAD is to develop a database to begin annually collecting and accurately reporting the "true" numbers (omitting duplicate applicants) of nursing school application and admissions statistics as well as applicant demographic information (e.g., race/ethnicity, age, gender) and enrollment trends for Oregon's 21 associate and baccalaureate degree nursing programs and schools (see reverse). NSAD will also track statewide retention rates of nursing school students as well as multi-year applicants to nursing school. Data collection is guided by the valuable input of our advisory panel. Funding for the NSAD Pilot Project is provided by the Oregon Workforce Investment Board via the Department of Community Colleges & Workforce Development, Employer Workforce Training Fund.
